FAQ
1. What types of positions can a healthcare staffing agency fill?
The disciplines and experience levels of employees will vary based on the agency. At Care International Agency, we staff RNs at nursing homes, hospitals, correctional facilities, schools, development centers, and other facilities.
2. Are nurses from a staffing agency less experienced?
Absolutely not! Healthcare staffing agencies require that nurses and other healthcare professionals not only stay current on necessary practice licenses and certifications but also provide copies of all relevant documentation as part of the onboarding process. The hiring facility will also designate required discipline and experience levels for the shifts they are looking to fill to ensure that they are getting the same quality of employees as those they would hire directly.
3. How specific can my requests be? Do I just send the agency shifts that I need filled, or can the requests be more specific?
A hiring facility can be as specific as they would like when looking for an employee. This can mean specifically requesting people who have already worked at their facility before, requesting employees by disciplines, by whether or not they have supervisory experience or any other specific request that would help them find the right person for their facility. Facilities can also include promotional offers to incentivize employees, such as gift cards or the offer of overtime, but that is entirely up to the facility.
4. Do you offer W-2?
Yes! Our goal is to offer you the flexibility to staff in the manner that best suits your company. We can provide staffing on either 1099 or W-2 employment model. Speak with a Partnerships Manager to learn more.
5. Will an agency send staff to try and poach my other employees?
Absolutely not. It’s our job to help facilities by filling open shifts, by supplementing permanent staff and by helping in any other way that we can. We observe a code of ethics in healthcare staffing and that includes never ever trying to steal/poach one of your employees to work for us. Period. It is a hard-earned reputation that we would do nothing to jeopardize.
6. Do you have a facility referral program?
Yes, we frequently offer referral bonuses. Contact us to learn more.
7. How long is the contract?
The minimum contract term is two years, but we can customize it to suit your specific requirements.
